Why Asanele Velebayi and Fawaaz Basadien to Kaizer Chiefs looks unlikely after the latest developments coming out from the Western Cape.

Kaizer Chiefs are in the transfer market to strengthen their squad for the new season, alot of additions are still to be expected from Kaizer Chiefs in the next few weeks. The Club has been the talk innthe off season, from coaching acquisition to now negotiating the right quality players for the club.

Kaizer Chiefs new technical team joined Kaizer Chiefs in June before jetting out to Turkey. They spent close to 3 weeks in their camp and played a few friendlies, after their much anticipated camp in Turkey Kaizer Chiefs came back to South Africa to play a major friendly with Tanzanian giants Young Africans(Yanga) whereby Kaizer Chiefs were humbled to a 4-0 score-line, seems like the game served as an eye opener for the technical team of the Club.

The Club has been very busy on the market with Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi criticizing the quality within the Kaizer Chiefs squad. “We need to look at our quality without emotions” Said Kaizer Chiefs coach Nabi. The club has since confirmed the acquisitions of Rwandan number 1 goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari, Cape Town Spurs sensation defender Rushwin Dortley who is dubbed as one for the future, the 22years defender is expected to stabilize the left side of Kaizer Chiefs defense, former Mamelodi Sundowns forward Gaston Sirino who joined on a free after being released by Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates left Bongani Sam.

SS unlimited news reveals why Kaizer Chiefs face a huge problem with regards to acquisition, Kaizer Chiefs were expected to complete deals for two players from the Western Cape Asanele Velebayi and Fawaaz Basadien. Unfortunately latest developments suggest that price fee is proving to be a hard hill to climb for Kaizer Chiefs, their teams want Kaizer Chiefs to match the fees alot of negotiations have taken place in the past few days. But both teams don’t seem to be finding common grounds.

Asanele Velebayi’s CEO went on radio to rant about the deal, Cape Town Spurs believe they deserve more for Velebayi considering the fact that they developed him from the age of 12. It was reported that Asanele Velebayi’s parents also tried to intervene to get the deal to go through, unfortunately it seems its not enough as the R10M price tag remains. But SS unlimited news reveal that R8Million might be enough to get the deal over the line.

With regards to Fawaaz Basadien Kaizer Chiefs have went back to Stellenbosch with a new offer, which is expected to be rejcted as they look for the R12M tag to be met. Initially Kaizer Chiefs had focused their attention to AmaZulu defender Rian Hanamub to be their new left back, however AmaZulu are holding out and want R8Million for a player with 1 year remaining in his contract.

The last few weeks of the transfer window will be very tricky, a number of players feel that Clubs are being selfish and not considering their future’s, and are looking for personal gain Asanele Velebayi is one of the players believed to want out of Spurs with immediate effect joined by his teammates Ashley Cupido and Chumani Butsaka.
