Kaizer Chiefs considering selling two player to open space for their foreign quota.
The last few weeks it has emerged that Kaizer Chiefs is looming outside the country, to strengthen their squad as PSL club hold out for large transfer fees. However Kaizer Chiefs are limited by their foreign quota, with a number of teams wanting huge chunks of money for their players.
Kaizer Chiefs management believes that the PSL transfer market is now inflated, with prices for players not making any sense. Kaizer Chiefs have spent less than R20Million in the market so far with alot more deals set to be closed the coming weeks.
Kaizer Chiefs have completed a deal for Angolan Centre Back Miguel Inacio who is on a private jet to South Africa and is set to undergo medicals, the player was signed from Angolan giants Petro De Luanda for a fee of around R3M. The Inacio Miguel deals comes with it’s complications as the Club is expected to open their foreign quota to register players.
Kaizer Chiefs winger Christian Basomboli Saile is one of the players believed to be on his way out, initially Saile was offered to Sekhukhune United to try and acquire the signing of Elias Mokwana but the deal did not go through, as the latter joined Tunisian giants Esperance.
AmaZulu and Supersport United are some of the teams interest on the signature of the DRC born player, Saile was a major player for Kaizer Chiefs the previous season having scored 4 goals and 2 assists while playing all the games for Kaizer Chiefs.
Another familiar face linked with Kaizer Chiefs is Ivorian defender Ismael Toure from Stellenbosch who is believed to have sent in a transfer request, it is believed that Kaizer Chiefs is interested on the player. Though Supersport United is also in the race, Toure has seens been frozen out of the Stellenbosch FC first team training sessions as he contemplates his future.
With Kaizer Chiefs having signed Inacio Miguel, it makes it a little bit difficult for Kaizer Chiefs to get the deal over the line. Due to their limitations of the foreign quota, hence rumours have emerged that Botswana national team captain Thatayaone Ditlhokwe might return to his former team, whether permanently or temporarily it’s unknown at this point.
Edmilson Dove is another individual they are considering not registering, to open the foreign quota for the signature of Ismale Toure who is interested on the move to Kaizer Chiefs.
